Tourists typically reach Skardu by air or road. There are flights available from Islamabad to Skardu Airport, which is the fastest way to reach. Alternatively, tourists can travel by road along the Karakoram Highway from Islamabad or from other parts of Gilgit-Baltistan, which offers stunning scenic views but requires a long drive.
